I partnered with DiFiori (can you tell I love them?!) to photograph a modern vintage nautical set up at The Dinghy Bar & Grill, located off of Lake Lewisville. I just loved everything about the decor – the perfectly antiqued centerpieces holding those white hydrangeas were so simple and yet so glamorous against the burlap-colored table coverings. And the sand-filled tall glass candle holders were just the right about of nautical without punching you in the face with the familiar navy and yellow that you would expect when you hear the word nautical.
There were vintage-inspired seating areas as well, complete with an antique trunk, fan and binoculars. It was both welcoming and comfortable and the guests adored it.
The outdoor dinner seating boasted more soft floral colors on the table in shades of white, pale pink and soft and was marked with antique frames and containers to really bring in the whole theme.
Divine – just divine.
