As I looked back through all of the reception images today, I could not help but smile. There were so many amazing moments that I got to relive in those couple of minutes. I could hear the laughter all over again, feel the music and all of that energy — all of it was thanks to so many incredible vendors.
Please allow me to have my lovefest …
I recommended Marian Timmer of Minted Artistry because I knew she would be just perfect for the job. Marian hurt her leg right before the wedding and not only brought in an amazing team of helpers, but she was somehow every where and any where exactly when I needed her – even on crutches. CRUTCHES!!! She is smart, sassy, and that woman knows how to get the job done. I was beyond impressed at what she could do and she never, ever let on how much pain she was in. She’s amazing and then some.
This was my first time working with makeup artist Anastasia Strattan. Her reputation precedes her – she was just as extraordinarily professional and detail orientated as I had heard. And she is just so amazingly lovely … just oodles of lovely to work with. Plus she was on time to the second, I love this woman!
DJ William Ryan of It’s Your Night Entertainment got our tushies grooving. Not only does he know how to rock a party, but his effervescent smile is always contagious and uplifting.
Catering was provided by the yummilicous Cafe Modern. I mean, my mouth just drools when I think about the avocado bar, shrimp and grits, seasonal salad …. you get the point. I’m obsessed. The catering manager, Sarah, works tirelessly and flawlessly behind the scenes to make sure every detail is perfect. She just doesn’t disappoint, she’s my idol.
Cake, ah cake. Creme de la Creme, of course. I snarfed down a whole piece and sat in the corner smiling from my sugar rush. Crap, now I’m craving her cake again.
This was also our first time working with the videographers of Owl and Tree Films. Jesse and his gorgeous wife were such a fun joy to spend the day with! Thank you for being so kind and adorable! Cannot wait to work with you again soon!
Last but not least, my sweet friends at DiFiori. I give you the pinkest, puffiest of hearts for all of the beauty you bring to your weddings in the form of lovely flowers. You care so much about the happiness of your clients and you rock every wedding with so much finesse that I just love working with you both!
(see the bottom of the post for links to all of these amazing people)… but not before you enjoy all of these lovely images!
