We had  a few minutes with the bridesmaids outside of the chapel before it began sprinkling, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. The overcast afternoon really showed off the warmth of the chapel and as beautiful as those bridesmaid’s dresses looked outside, they really popped against the brick!

Once the sun set after the ceremony, we had that beautiful blue glow (that I love so much!) coming in through the windows.  As you can see, it provided a beautiful backdrop for Vanessa & Nathan’s portraits together.

I’ve said it before, Vanessa is so incredibly elegant and Nathan oozes this debonnaire manliness, but is so tender and sweet at around her that it makes me girly-giggle. They were both impressively adventurous when it came to playing in the rain – both at the chapel and outside the modern – which I, of course, loved about them!
