I mentioned in my first post that we were contending with random rain sprinkles on the wedding day so while we started some wedding party pictures at Stonegate, I wanted some more! Actually, I always more!

We had some time before the ceremony started so I took Taylor and the bridal party outside of the chapel for a few images. Taylor was hesitant. She had been so laid back all day, but suddenly she looked me right in the eye and said “I don’t want to get my dress dirty before the ceremony.” I assured her there was nothing to worry about and I laid a stern warning on the bridal party – “watch where you step or I will keeeeeelllll you!”

We went through a lovely smathering of bridal party images and somewhere in the middle I noticed a lovely foot print on the back of Taylor’s train. I kept going. Hugo elbowed me, I nodded, I kept going. As soon as the groupings were done, I grabbed the dress and I walked Taylor back into the chapel and right into the bathroom. I had her turn around and as she was chatting with one of her bridesmaids, I turned on the faucet and started blotting the mud off of the back of her dress. At first she didn’t notice but when she did her eyes got incredibly wide. “I’ve got this,” I assured her. And sure enough after some water, some patting and some goo-off from chapel’s emergency kit she was ready to walk down the aisle like nothing happened.

Me? I totally had an internal panic attack. The moral of the story is – I will fix it. And thank goodness my assistants and I have incredible mental telepathy skills.

I had just met Mark a few minutes prior and I promised this was going to be painless and fun.

See? I promised.

I love how deep and sexy the lighting is at the chapel after sunset. Rawr!!!
