Our schedule was a bit different at this wedding. We started with pictures of Matt getting ready and then some formal pictures of him and his groomsmen. Ofelia got ready next and we went straight into the ceremony. After the ceremony, we did all of the formal pictures outside of the main room since the caterers were busy preparing it for the reception.

We kept outdoor images to a minimum, it was just too hot outside and we experienced an interesting phenomenon known as SUPER high humidity. How does SUPER high humidity differ from regular old humidity? Well, the SUPER stuff fogs up your lenses. This is something that I personally have not experienced outside of Mexico, although I’m sure my Florida & other coastal area colleagues are just shaking their heads at me right now. What can I say? We are landlocked, people, it’s not supposed to be SUPER humid here. But it was and I quickly found this out when I opened the doors to take some pictures of Ofelia & Matt amongst the vines.

There’s always a Plan B! So I left my camera outside to “warm up” while I continued shooting them with my second camera inside. After the fogginess went away (usually 10 to 20 minutes depending on the temperature difference, for future reference), we were able to rock right through some lovely evening images in the vineyard.

And the guests? They were noshing on yummy food and didn’t know a thing about foggy lenses or that we were even gone 🙂
