It’s like Vivian and I were part of an inside joke.  Megan’s father dropped one of her sisters during  the father-daughter dip many, many years ago. This was commemorated at her sister Stephanie’s wedding in January 2006 by placing a taped X on the dance floor on the spot where he dropped her. I was a little surprised, perhaps a teeny bit saddened, that there was not already an X on the dance floor when I walked into the reception room at Old Red.

But never fear, that silly family of theirs made sure it would not be forgotten. During Megan’s dance with her father, two lovely characters came out onto the dance floor and inconspicuously placed it. We love inside jokes and these families. I cannot wait until Megan’s little brother gets married. No pressure!
