Jason contacted me a few weeks before this wedding day to Lucy. They were having an intimate wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel and were very excited to secure an available time slot on such short notice. I knew very little about Lucy and Jason besides that fact that they wanted amazing wedding images and they felt very comfortable booking me on the phone, sight unseen, because the wonderful people at the chapel had said so many great things about my work. They had the 5-8pm time in November and that meant that the sun was already setting when I arrived. I set to work amidst the soft glow of the lights inside the chapel and the candles to photograph their wedding details – arras (coins), lasso, bible – all beautiful mementos of Lucy’s hispanic origins.
