I normally combine the getting ready shots with the first glance but I believe that Lauren’s lovely of details that just need a nice post of their own.
Vivian and Audrey began their morning with the details outside at The Tribute, while I spent time with Lauren and the girls inside the bridal suite.
Don’t know what to do with a veil? May I suggest a Shepard’s hook and a blue sky?
I’m actually going to take the credit for the shoe pictures because I spent 5 minutes trying to balance a full length mirror horizontally with shoes on it 🙂
Lauren is a wedding bee and these were her special bees for her wedding day.
Hair & Makeup was done by the amazing Vetty of Perfect in Beauty Makeup.
I both really liked the videographer (shout out to Austin!) and the framing of this image.
I still giggle every time I see this image. Eastside!
Such a peaceful image.
And in the groom’s room …
Right. So I walked in before Chris had gotten ready and I took pictures of the ties and cufflinks. I was trying to figure out what to do with the socks but I wasn’t coming up with anything creative so I laughed and we both came up with the idea of doing sock puppets. I left on my merry way to photograph Lauren getting into her dress and I sent Vivian, as I normally do, to get the groom ready. I had forgotten about the socks by this point but Chris had not. And Vivian said she just watched as he proceeded to put the socks on his hands, entertain her with a little hand sock theater and kiss them goodbye. I pink puffy heart you Chris!
