There was 100% chance of rain during the ceremony time and, rightfully so, the ceremony chairs were set up inside the ArtSpace 111 gallery. After we finished the first look, the venue coordinator came up to Jill and asked what she wanted to do. The storm was delayed a bit and there was the possibility we could still have the wedding outside. I could see Jill was torn and I offered my opinion “just do it, do it outside!”

And she listened  – maybe not because I suggested it, but because in her heart that was what she secretly really wanted. So as the sun began to set, and the winds began to pick up ever so slightly, we started the ceremony outside. I gave Hugo instructions that as soon as the ceremony ended to grab my flashes as they were the only thing that would not withstand the rain.

The rain drops started as soon as Jill made her way up the aisle. They were small and sparse at first, and then they began to increase in size and frequency.
