This is going to be a whopper of a post. Holly & Jason gives us OODLES of details. I actually considered just making a details post just to house them all. Instead, I am going to put some enormous load on my blog just to … test it, you know? I think you should overload your blog with pictures just for the fun of it sometimes.
I loved Holly & Jason the moment I met them. Both avid gamers and sarcastic types, we talked for hours at our first meeting. I get to engagements and suddenly Jason is quiet. “He hates his picture taken,” says Holly. WHHHHAAAATTTT!! Vivie and I got him warmed up and he was just fine. I knew the wedding day would be easy on him since he already knew all of the secret photography moves.
So we found ourselves at Chapelle de Fleurs in Flowers Mound on a rather moist October 3rd. No worries, we had plenty to work with!
The Chapel.
Nancy caught this one right before the ceremony. The flower girl was not ready to go down the aisle.
This is how I know Holly was nervous. No smile. Extreme Concentration.
Jason is mesmerized.
Jason’s family is all smiles.
So let me tell you about this unity candle. It was a beautiful, but utterly scary open flame!
Like a flame torch! Super powers unite!
Ah, there’s happy Holly again!!!
Vivian caught these sweet moments with Jason & Holly’s parents.
On to the reception … details galore!
Love this entrance shot!

Nancy catches the now very happy flower girl!
Holly’s cake was so elegant, I loved the sweeping florals.
Jason’s cake was all rambunctious play time.
A view from the cake cutter.
Jason takes a stab at the cake.
Holly, this is serious business.
Holly’s dad made a wonderful speech.
Her niece Sage didn’t make it through hers.
Jason’s grandma was so sweet.
Jason & Holly’s first dance with some of my sexy lighting.

And Nancy got this gem. Don’t the three of us just rock the house with our perspectives ? 🙂
Whoops, the bouquet went over everyone’s head.
And there goes the garter, with a little more precision.
It’s never too early to moon walk.
The “goodbye” rice and rain were an utterly funny combination.
And, finally, the most logical place to put a Gnome!
