Fern & Jeff’s Dallas Wedding

Take a deep breath because I am about to take you through Fern & Jeff’s ridiculously awesome and fun wedding day! Fern and Jeff were married on May 23rd at Marie Gabrielle Restaurant and Gardens in the heart of downtown Dallas. Vivian, Tracie and I arrived exceptionally early but we were excited to get rolling with pictures before the ceremony. We scoped out the premises and devised our shooting plan and then ran into a very calm Fern, who was grinning ear to ear. Vivian and I stole all of her accessories and went traipsing through the garden to begin shooting.

When it was time for Fern to get dressed, we moved her into the sexy-beautiful morning sunlight streaming through the restaurant.

Jeff getting ready was much quicker. We had him re-dress in the lobby.

Fern & Jeff had a stone ceremony where everyone who attended showed their support by contributing a polished stone to their lucky bamboo plant.

And then Fern declared it party time!

Fern gave us tons of eye candy and kept us busy with all of her lovely details!

Their first dance.

Father daugher dance.

Mother son dance.

And a little Macarena.

Then the ZBTs came out to play.

And the Thetas, too.

The symbol for Theta is a kite so I promised Fern that I would bring a fuchsia one. To bad I didn’t bring any wind too.

A little break-dancing is a must at every fabulous wedding.
