Emily & Mark’s intimate wedding @ The Village CC

Emily, Mark and I met in the final days of 2008 to talk about their February wedding plans. They told me they were having an intimate ceremony at The Village Country Club in Dallas and explained how important photographywas for them. Mark was especially excited to have his uncle Mark there. Groom Mark had been a ring bearer in Uncle Mark’s wedding many years before.

We spent quite a bit of time at that first meeting and in subsequent emails really getting to know each and other and making sure that we got pictures of all the important people who were attending. The time schedule was shorter so we carefully crafted a plan.

We’ll start with details. We got there before Emily did, but luckily her sister had brought all of the bridal goodies so we started playing with the accessories and decor …
