In an earlier post I had mentioned my heart attack about losing the sunlight for bridal party portraits. To our wonderful amazement and utter joy, the ceremony concluded at breakneck speed and not only did we enjoy 10 minutes of formal family portraits on the altar, but we had plenty of time for the wedding party outside the doors of the church. The lovely light definitely lingered for a few extra minutes for us and we were delighted with every single streak of it.
We had a super hero of a wedding planner that day, Meaghan of Sweet Pea Events. Meaghan and I had been coordinating our ever-changing timeline and she knew we would be spending some extra time after the ceremony catching up with the portraits that we were unable to get in earlier that day. But before anyone knew it, we were at the Orion Ballroom and the party was kicking into high gear!
