Just the notion of having a candlelit ceremony put me in complete joyous splendor – it meant a great excuse to splurge on the 50mm f/1.2 lens I had been ogling for months. For you camera buffs, the f/1.2 is simply beautiful!

Speaking of beautiful .. the weather. It was a lovely evening in the mid 70’s. I would have never believed that the following weeks would bring a cold front and even snow!

What else can I tell you about? O! This was the second appearance of the Garter Chicken, we are all buds and call him GC. It cracks me up how the guys got into the garter toss and watching GC fly across the room. For a rubber chicken (feather challenged?), he really gets some good air.

We also had our first experience with personalized table ice sculptures, which we all ooed and ahhed about. Super beautiful!
