It really was a glorious day, filled with beautifully warm sunlight. And we began Blair & Aaron’s ceremony just as the last rays of golden light were bidding farewell. The rules for wedding photography at Broadway Baptist state that I may have a stationary shooter in the balcony in the back and one on the side balcony. I had Hugo on the side so he could both capture Aaron’s first glimpse of Blair walking down the aisle and her face during the ceremony. Hugo is a wiz at documenting emotions so this was the perfect place for him. Vivian was stationed in the back – responsible for the wide shots during the ceremony and the traditional view straight up the aisle. I can’t leave her without a compliment but I’m sure you guys already know how much she rocks.

My job was capturing the recessional and processional and I waited in the foyer for the ceremony so I only saw the reactions, the pure joy on everyone’s faces, when I was looking at the images a few nights later. And it was magical.
