Not to embarrass Amy, but she asked a lot of questions via email before we met. She was serious about wedding photography and wanted to make sure that our visions were on the same page. I hear a lot of photographers talk about “red flags” when it comes to clients and asking a lot of questions doesn’t make me send up my warning flag in the least. When it came down to it, Amy & Justin gave me complete control on their wedding day and truly trusted me with everything from portrait locations to timing.

So there we were. On a Monday. Labor Day. And I have complete run of Marty Leonard Chapel for the next couple of hours. On a gloriously lovely day.

I love that Amy wanted to wear her glasses for their first glance. They are just so incredibly sweet together and their reactions had me in tears.
