Ah, the details. I love starting Tuesdays sharing the wedding day details.
I officially met both Kelli and Chris the afternoon of their wedding as they were living in Guam when they booked me. Yes, Guam. Syncing up our schedules to talk was fun because of the time difference and, yet, made possible by the wonder of Skype.
I send an email to my crew before every wedding with location details, schedule, formals shot list, and I love to include an image of the couple so they know who to look for. I shared an image that I found of them on facebook (and thank you for facebook for that!), as I normally do when I have not had the change to photograph them ahead of time. We were all very surprised to find out that Chris had a full head of hair when we arrived. It’s the little things that make us chuckle, since his mother had requested that he grow back his hair for the wedding.
So, yes, back to details … Kelli’s gorgeous lace Justin Alexander dress.
And her lovely acccessories, set amongst her centerpieces. This was all Vivie-creative.
Her soft and feminine wedding flowers were provided by Blue Lotus. This was my first time working with this exquisite floral studio.
Hugo captured this lovely moment of Kelli getting ready. The light was divine x20.
We had such a fun first look. Kelli was utterly overjoyed to see Chris.
