We walked into a lot of … tranquility. It’s not something you get with a large wedding party, but it’s what you get around Brittany. The ladies were done with hair and makeup and sitting around chatting and enjoying their bubbly. Brittany’s littlest sister, Kennedy was taking it all in and enjoying the view.
We then moved on to the bridal suite at Union Station, which had the most sublime light as we got Brittany and her bridesmaids ready. Kennedy was the star. She watched everyone bustle around Brittany and then she swooped in to give her the ring to complete her bridal outfit – a gift that Brittany received the day that Kennedy was born.
If that didn’t bring the room to tears, then Brittany seeing her dad in her dress absolutely did.
In the groom’s room, the guys were just as jovial – enjoying each other’s company and laughing at old memories and silly pranks that were pulled over the years.
And all of the sudden, it was time for their first look and all of that energy culminated into one big ball of emotion. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
