I tried to outsmart my holiday mini sessions last year. I started earlier in the year, I had three solid days of sessions lined up throughout October and November and I got some really, really good weather. On my last day of sessions, I headed to the meeting spot only to find out that there was a marathon or half-marathon (or just a bunch of random runners?) making their way around the White Rock Lake. It was completely blocked off by the police and I muttered “crap, crap, crap, crap” as I found an alternate location and started wildly texting my clients.
Luckily, greenary and good light were abundant and the kids were all in terrific spirits because the temperature was lovely! I started with this adorable one, who was very excited about getting a little sister. A first – the tiniest, most adorable little violinist I have ever seen!
