This is Shannon and her adorable family. If you picture her in a wedding dress, perhaps riding on an ATV through the mud, you may remember her from the Trash the Dress shoot that we did for the Today Show. This was my first time meeting her husband, David, and their two lovely little balls of energy, Corie and Josephine.
The most difficult part of shooting identical twins wearing the same outfit is telling them apart and thus ensuring equal camera time. But once they let me into their little secret that Corie was wearing the cream tights, I had it down to a science. The second most difficult thing of shooting twins is getting two simultaneous smiles, especially when these little munchkins decide to run off at different times.
Luckily, they brought their secret weapon (grandma) and she perfectly corralled and entertained them. Heck, she even entertained me with kiddie sing along songs! Corie and Josephine are so incredibly lucky to have these amazing, relaxed parents and a sweet grandmother that dotes on them (& perfectly entertains their photographer). ♥
