Scott contacted me for the first time via text message. He & his fiance, Kerry, had just booked Marty Leonard Chapel and they were so excited that they wanted to speak to wedding photographers immediately. I came to find out that Scott loves to text. He really, really loves to text.
I met Scott & Kerry for the first time in their home a few days after that initial text message. They share a beautiful, modern home with their three furry, excitable dogs and lots of beautiful art work. When I share their wedding day on the blog, I’ll bring up the art work again, it’s a central theme in their relationship and something that they both really love.
What can I tell you about them? Kerry is shy and reserved at first, but has a heart of gold. He’s tender and kind and his laugh is contagious. Scott is chatty and excited and likes to motion a lot with his hands. He tells intricate, exciting stories. He laughs a lot. Scott often gets teary when he talks about how great they are together and how much this union means to both of them. It’s so incredibly important to them and it’s my job to share that importance and joy with the world.
