Clark.

I don’t often address the groom in my posts, but Clark is unlike any other groom I have ever had. It started a few months ago at the Life in Deep Ellum Open House when he approached me and said “YOU’RE LYNN MICHELLE!” Well, yes, yes I am!  Clark has been following my blog for a while and I had the feeling that he knew all of the photography answers better than I did! The booking process was done solely (and quickly) over email and the next thing I knew, there I was with both of them at a park in Turtle Creek. And we were in the middle of prom day.

So we played dodge the prom peeps- which entails prancing around a bunch of high school kids in smattering of hot pink, turquoise and yellow outfits, along with their posse of family & friend photographers in tow. We saw lots of over exuberant point and shoot cameras clicking some very, very … unique? …. angles . Good stuff.

I have no complaints, we laughed and laughed and laughed some more. We bonded over stories BMW stories (as we’ve both gone through the same barrage of car repairs. PS, the BMW finally died and was donated to charity … adios money pit …) and most importantly, I talked them into jumping into a fountain. Successful engagement session? I think so.

One more note. Somehow it came up that Sarah’s mom hates the piggy back picture. So, of course, we did it anyway and paired it with the jump in the fountain. Because, of course, everyone spends their weekend in a park fountain riding on their fiance’s back. Duh.
