Sam has a really good sense of humor. I know because he called me laughing when our first engagement session was totally and utterly rained out. Luckily it looks like monsoon season is lifting around here so we successfully were able to reschedule. We didn’t get a sunny day, but we did get an amazing sky and no rain, so I will call that a winner.
I met both Molly & Sam for the first time the afternoon of their portrait session and we jumped right into pictures because they were both relaxed and pretty playful (and I feared another downpour because the sky was threatening to say the least).
The best part was giving my little shpeal at the beginning of the session and having to add “Ok, I’m a little weird because I get really excited when I shoot so don’t be scared, but I promise the pictures will look really great”. It was a must since they hadn’t met me but they didn’t look scared and really rolled with the punches even when I had them twisting and turning and rolling on the ground. Awesome.
Here’s the really fun part. Over the course of that week I had collected a pile of random things in my trunk. We just had a blast with all of it!!
