It’s so amazing how people come into your lives. I met Erick when I was working for a advertising agency and we bonded over episodes of Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.  At the time, I knew very little about either show as I was just starting only starting my adventure and I was seasons behind everyone else. Erick always enjoyed asking what episode I was on and talking to me about those shows and their associated fan theories, all while making sure not to reveal any spoilers. He always spoke of his wonderful girlfriend, Abby. I knew they had so much in common and that he just adored her because his face lit up every time he spoke of her.
A little bit of time passed, and Erick pinged me to let me know he had proposed to Abby and she had said “YES!”. He was ecstatic and he wanted to get some engagement portraits booked.
Meeting Abby was the best thing ever – seeing them together was truly magical. If I thought before that Erick lit up talking about her, you should have seen them together – they were both positively glowing with joy.
