I love watching football. I especially love it when the Cowboys are playing. The Super Bowl is an exception – especially a Super Bowl with an underdog. I wanted the Saints to win, I just did. They warm my heart and make me feel gooey inside so, therefore, they should win. (I did still wear my Cowboys tee, because that’s how I roll.)
This year, we watched the game at our neighbor’s house, across the street. We’ve joked about needing to find a ride and making sure we got there before traffic got bad. We are silly like that. At least they got the joke.
In honor of the Super Bowl, Nathan & I decided to try out a new recipe – this one was featured on the cover of Food & Wine Magazine’s January edition. It’s called ButterScotch Sticky Buns and while it may not be the usual football favorite, we always love to indulge in something new and gooey.
