Nathan and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend. Seven. Wow.

Our schedules prevented us from going to the Melting Pot this year so we did the next best thing and brought the Melting Pot to us.

6 ounces medium sharp cheddar cheese
2 ounces Emmenthaler Swiss Cheese
4 ounces of Shiner
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons dry mustard powder

Bosch pears, gala apples, garlic flat bread, carrots, and broccoli for dipping.

Dessert consisted of dark chocolate bark with sunflower seeds, almonds and pumpkin seeds. It required a mallet.

Any trip to Central Market in Southlake is incomplete without a stopover to the Sample House Candle Shop for some smelltacular candles. My new obsession (thanks to Julie!) is the Voluspa Salio Persimmon. If I could only nom nom a candle …
