I was extraordinarily excited this week when the big brown truck brought me a present. A present named Roomba.

Now in my search for a Roomba I realized that a lot of people were naming theirs with unique names and that the IRobot website actually encouraged it by having a field called “name”. Curious. I will tell you – as of right now I refuse to name my robot. I have the right to change my mind in the future and become one of those insane Roomba owners, but right now I’m going to sit and sip water and watch my Roomba work, like any respectable Roomba owner should do.

What happened earlier today, well, that’s a story all its own. I locked the Roomba up one room at a time so it could thoroughly clean the studio rooms. I heard some funny noises so I opened the Vintage Glam Room to find Roomba playing in the boas. Apparently, Roombas want Eye Candy pictures too.

Note: This photo has not been doctored in anyway. The Roomba was not set up. This is a 100% PJ/candid image shot on my 70-200 IS (just kidding about the lens part, but I’m sure if you got the reference you laughed really hard). In fact, I should have filmed it rolling around the floor with the boa securely wrapped around it.  Awesome.

Edited to add: Chris suggested that I call it Glamba!
