Day 6: My last full day in Seattle. (and another admission to using a point & shoot camera. MUST. ADMIT. IT. )

Erinn and I went back to Pike’s Place Market since she hadn’t been to the downtown area yet. We visited the original Starbucks, of course. The line was too long at 8am for us to get anything so we ventured on.

This was supposed to be a self-portrait with Lake Union behind us. Instead enjoy the highway – I think it was 99?

Better.

Downtown Seattle.

We had brunch at Gloria & Eric’s house and then took a chocolate tour at Theos Chocolate. Theos prides themselves on being “the only Organic, Fair Trade, Bean-To-Bar Chocolate Factory in the United States”. And they have some darn good chocolate! The factory tour was just awesome. We learned about the history of chocolate and how it was made. But the best part, was of course, eating it! Not planning to be in Seattle soon? No worries, Theos sells to Whole Foods, REI, and Pier One as well as to some smaller retailers in our area.

My favorite was the Fig, Fennel, and Almond Dark Chocolate!

Here’s Gloria snacking on some chocolate during the history part of the tour.

Gloria’s sister Carrie is sharing the (left to right) Fig, Mint, and Ivory Coast confections.

My brand spanking new Chucks. I found out that you needed closed toe shoes right before the tour so I found me some green Converse :o)

We had sushi/sashimi again (surprise!).

Well, that was my trip to Seattle. Feel like I’m keeping something from you? O I am! Tomorrow’s post is the portrait session that I had with Gloria & Eric right after the wedding and right before the after party at Ivar’s. I couldn’t just bring my camera and not shoot some pictures of them, who do you think I am people?!
