Crazy For You

I was invited to a special preview of Gershwin’s “Crazy For You” by Mandy. The show opened yesterday at the Campus Theatre in Denton.

Mandy told me ahead of time that this play was “a crowd pleaser” and it definitely was that. The dialogue is witty, with a hint of sarcasm. The dance numbers are energetic and engaging. I found myself tapping my feet and later humming the songs during intermission.

Having never shot a play before and not knowing where I would be sitting, I brought a small assortment of lenses. I was given balcony access so my lovely 70-200 IS and I were just going to town.

Mandy had a very spicy part playing the red headed fiancee. I felt kind of dirty shooting it! 😉
