The Christmas theme this year was buffalo plaid. It kind of came out of nowhere and it was just as fun as it looks. When Evan’s mom emailed me with a link to our Christmas Eve outfits, I just giggled.
Since I’m extraordinarily inquisitive, I decided to look up buffalo plaid and learned that it first created by the Woolrich Woolen Mill in 1850. The designer of the bold red & black pattern owned a herd of buffalo and that is where it got its name from. Fascinating.
All I know is that we all had a ball in our onesies and pajamas. And it was a balmy 80 degrees all weekend.
I hope that your holiday was also filled with warmth and laughter.
