Working with so many unique people definitely brings some unique story telling experiences with it.  We hear quite a bit of things and our lips are sealed – although, we need to be regularly bribed with cheese to stay hush.

Last week, I was meeting with some potential clients and we started talking about how the groom proposed. The bride started laughing and told me a nice tale. I told her it was going straight to the blog unless she booked me. 😉

Sarah is a middle school teacher in Richardson. Her school is sponsored by Chick-Fil-A which apparently means several things but the most important one to this story is that the Chick-Fil-A cow comes out and delivers brownies and other goodies as rewards to the class. One day, Sarah’s class was having a brownie party and the cow delivered the goods and Sarah gave him a thank you kiss. Her class thought this was quite a big thing and started whispering about it.

Jared, her boyfriend, came to visit her soon after to bring her lunch and the class tattled about what had happened. Jared played it off like he was mad at Sarah and told her that they “would talk about it later”. More whispers from the kids.

One Friday, the principal of the school came in to talk to Sarah and her class. She said there was a friend there to see her. And the Chick-Fil-A cow walked in.

Somehow Sarah got coaxed into giving the cow another kiss and he started acting flustered and making fake heart palpitation motions, just like he did last time. The next thing she knew, the cow was down on one knee and the head had been removed to reveal Jared inside.

I laughed so hard I cried at that story. I already planted the seed of the cow having to be in the engagement pictures. Stay tuned.
