We were so lucky to have Evan with Evan Godwin Photography come out and play with us back in November. It was the first time he got to see us in action and to laugh at the absurdity that is a Lynn + Vivie wedding day. (Which, I think can only be marginally trumped by a Lynn + Michelle wedding day but that’s a post for another time!).

We began our afternoon at Nick’s parent’s home in Granbury, where we got to play with all of the adorable animals. Vivie and Evan made sure to document every one of them including the sun-bathing chihuahua, the shy Akida, and what we have deemed ‘the original grumpy cat’.

This is exactly what I look like during the planning portion of formals – with my command hand straight out and some serious concentration on my face. I don’t think I have really been documented throughout the shooting process, so it was beyond interesting to see the images from Evan. Basically, it’s blurs of me running in and out of the frame.
