There was a lot of preparation that went into Kim & Tom’s wedding from our end. It was early July in Texas and to gear up for their outdoor wedding, I had lots of water packed into a cooler, handheld fans, and I brought two assistants – one for myself and one for Vivian. History proved that outdoor summer weddings took a toll on us (especially Vivie) and with our tight schedule, I wanted to make sure we could handle anything.
And then it rained buckets and the temperature dropped over 20 degrees. Only in Texas.
Hugo + wedding dress.
Vivie + the plant.
Hugo and that guy – like two passing ships on the sea.
Here I am in super-quick mode. I’ll tell you our rain story over the next couple of posts, but this was our biggest break from the downpour so we took full advantage of it!
Vivie and I during the reception. We even kneel the same way.
