O there are so many weddings in the pipeline to show off that I am just about to explode!! This week is all about Melanie & Clint, who got married at The Old Red Courthouse in downtown Dallas in April. It’s been a little while since I have shot at Old Red, and our weddings there are always very, very fun and offer unexpected surprises.
Speaking of surprises, I’m sure Audrey didn’t expect to walk into this playful scene in the court room. Hi Audrey!
I’m going to go ahead and throw Vivian under the bus here. She kept this image because she thought it was a caught one of me with Melanie & her mom right before the first glimpse. That’s not me at all, it’s a man with dreads , wearing a skirt and fanning Melanie with a lacy black fan. If I could answer the plethora of questions you have about this, dear reader, I would. However, I have no idea what is going on sometimes.
That’s me – running to get into place for the first glimpse.
I had Audrey check to see if she could get a shot from the landing below so Vivian and I posed for her. Apparently the videographer (to my left) was part of the action, but I was oblivious until they all started laughing.
The Matron of Honor asked Audrey to hold her drink during her speech. I enjoy this little paparazzi group very much.
We set up a Framed Booth with Melanie’s permission so we could test out some new equipment for future weddings. Audrey and I had to make sure it worked ok 😉
The crazy videographer. He was a fun time.
I came out of the reception and this bobble head of Melanie & Clint suddenly appeared on the cake table. I’m saying “where did this come from?”
So there was a situation with Audrey’s shoe & some cake – which we definitely had to take a picture of so we could remember it.
There was also this situation with a fork and so we had to document that as well. Thank you to this lovely groomsmen for helping us demonstrate it.
We had so much fun they were kicking us out by the end of the night.
