You know what I really LOVE about weddings?! I get to show off the bridals! Now, I’m not going to gloss over the fact that Rachel & Gary had a butt-kicking awesome wedding tonight, but let’s just smather her bridals up on the blog first and we will get to the wedding part in the next day or so 😉
I tell all of my clients that I have learned how to take care of just about everything in my 12 years of shooting. Minister didn’t make it? That’s ok, we are ordained by the church of www dot com. Hair & makeup lady sucketh? My MAC goodness and I have that covered. Your cake topper falls down the cake and wipes out all 3 tiers? Hand me some roses & a butter knife and watch me go. But flowers? Yikes. That’s when you are going to pat me on the head like a little puppy and tell me it will all be ok.
Rachel showed up with 3 flowers bunches from walmart : red roses, white tulips, and some green stuff. So there I was in the parking lot with a pair of scissors, a rubber band, and a bunch of flowers that didn’t smell like flowers. I’m not MacGyver people! I could have built a cherry bomb with more ease!
But with Rachel & her mom, it’s still a fun time – random flower bunches and all!
