On the Monday before bridals, the forecast threatened an bitty amount of rain. As the week went on, the chance of rain jumped to a very serious 90%. There was no mistaking it, outdoor portraits were just not going to happen and we moved quickly in enact a Plan B. Katie was getting married at per parent’s gorgeous home in Arlington so it made perfect sense to meet photograph there.
The house, well, it is utterly divine: full of gorgeous furniture at every turn and unique pieces that made every click so much fun. We did get a very small window for some portraits outdoors as we dodged big droplets of rain underneath the trees.
