Silence on the other end of the phone call.
“I’m sending you pictures, you are going to adore it,” I continued.
There was a little shuffling on the line and Jessica started to say “but, Lynn, I’m not really …”
To which I quickly added “it will be the perfect contrast against your ball gown. Classic and modern will meet and live in harmony!”
She laughed. “Let’s do it!”
