For me, Consuelo & Dan’s wedding meant so many things. It meant a return to the beautiful Zion Lutheran Church. It meant seeing Bart & Karen again, whom I had shot there only two years ago. It meant complete and utter artistic freedom – and a complete and utter embrace of the Gnome.
Gnomie made a record-breaking early appearance less than an hour into the whole thing. A bunch of boys on little tricycles clearly warranted a Gnome showing. But here’s the kicker – and the part that really made me feel warm & fuzzy – it was at Dan’s request.
